This is a sample 6 day itinerary and will be modified based on your preferences, schedule and activities you wish to participate in. Shorter or longer wine tour schedules are possible and will be personalized for your group.

DAILY WINE TOURS

Each day Vine to Wine Concierge will arrange for you to visit up to four exceptional wineries based on your tastes. You may choose a self-guided option or we can arrange for one of our partners to provide a chauffeured tour driver for one or all of the days you will be visiting wineries.

LUNCHES & DINNERS

Enjoy one of California’s unique roadside delicatessens or let us arrange a private winery lunch or a more formal meal an excellent Sonoma County restaurant. Vine to Wine Concierge can assist with reservations when needed.

Day 1: Arrival

Drive to Sonoma County and stay in Healdsburg, Sonoma, Windsor or Sebastopol. Check-in at one of our outstanding partner hotels, resorts or B&Bs after 3:00 p.m.

Day 2: Southern Sonoma

Vine to Wine Concierge can arrange a mountaintop tour/tasting, a chef hosted wine & food pairing, or a private lunch (all of which require prior reservations and can be made by Vine to Wine Concierge), or you can enjoy walk-in tastings at outstanding wineries.

Day 3: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay

We can arrange a variety of tasting experiences, from private tastings to visits/tour/tastings at biodynamic wineries. Reservations are required and will be made by Vine to Wine Concierge.

Day 4: Zinfandel and Beyond

Tasting experiences include wineries you may recognize and other, boutique wineries, that are sure to be new to you. Cave tours and barrel tastings at select wineries are available.

Day 5: Cabernet and More

Visit some of Sonoma’s most spectacular properties, including special or walk-in tastings. Some reservations are required which Vine to Wine Concierge will arrange. Cave tour/tastings and lunch (or dinner) at a winery may be included depending upon your personalized itinerary.

Day 6: Departure

Check-out time is typically 11 a.m. or Noon. Head home or to the airport. Consider staying a night or two in San Francisco or Half Moon Bay or another fabulous California locale.

Optional Activities

Take some time off from your wine tastings.

  • Depending on the resort, there may be exercise facilities available, an on-site restaurant, or both.
  • Head to the coast to see harbor seals and the Pacific Ocean.
  • Visit a nearby giant redwood preserve and park.
  • Taste other craft beverages – some breweries and distilleries are open to the public.

  • Enjoy a round of golf or a spa treatment (we can assist with reservations).
  • Hiking, biking and other recreational activities.
  • Shop at a wide array of boutiques all across Sonoma County.
  • Tell us about a special interest you have and we will do our best to delight you.
