Wine Tastings & Tours

Complimentary Initial Consultation

Our process starts with a complimentary assessment and evaluation of your wine tourism goals so we can develop the very best options and value for you and your group. After we discuss your trip preferences we will provide you an estimate of trip planning costs.

Some of the items we’ll discuss during the consultation:

  • What are your wine and winery interests?
  • What aspects of such a trip are most important to you?
  • Is your trip commemorating a special occasion?
  • What is your time frame for travel?
  • How many people will be in your party?
  • What is your budget?
  • Other preferences?

Trip Planning

Once you are satisfied with our initial consultation and estimate, and decide to plan your trip with Vine To Wine Concierge, we require a non-refundable Trip Planning deposit of $250. Our planning services are billed at $100 per hour. Total planning hours depend on the length of your trip, party size, winery visits, accommodations, chauffeured ground transportation and other activities.

Trip Payment

Payments for accommodations (including room deposits when applicable) are due in advance of the trip based on the requirements of the hotel(s).  Additional payments will be based on the policies of our transportation and winery partners.   We will send you invoices via PayPal.  We accept payments via PayPal (including credit cards) or checks.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel the trip you are responsible for your Trip Planning deposit, an administrative fee of $150, plus any additional costs our partners charge based on the timing of your cancellation. For this reason, we strongly recommend you consider travel insurance as discussed below.

What is included?

  • Hotel or B&B.
  • A schedule of visits to wineries, including reservations and tasting fees, included at your discretion. We recommend including tasting fees in package costs.
  • Restaurant recommendations.
  • Chauffeured ground transportation unless you prefer a self-guided tour.
  • We can assist with spa, golf, craft beverage visits, bicycling tours and other activities.

What is not included?

  • Flights and car rental.
  • Restaurant, spa, golf and other personal expenses.
  • Travel insurance.
  • Gratuities at your discretion.
  • Wine tasting fees if you wish to pay for a la carte.

Travel Insurance

Vine to Wine Concierge, LLC highly recommends you consider purchasing travel insurance for your trip. Travel insurance is useful if you have a sudden change in travel plans due to business or personal reasons or if, unfortunately, you sustain an injury or illness that prevents you from taking the trip as scheduled. Considering the cost of the trip we are designing for you, travel insurance is a relatively small additional cost.

We do not recommend any specific travel insurance company as there are several reputable ones, including: Allianz Global Assistance, CSA Travel Protection, Travelex, among others. TravelInsurance.com is a website designed to allow you to enter your trip details and compare costs among several companies, obtain coverage and receive coverage confirmation.
